Team Trump didn’t hire Israelis (!) to try to attack the basis for the deal, or the particulars, or anything about the deal itself. They were hired to find material to smear the Obama people who had helped negotiate the deal, to discredit it through association.

What should be pointed out here is we broke the deal first. We didn't even have to do much under its terms either: give them back the money we had original stolen from that (that was not taxpayer money, it was Iran's own funds) and not place any more economic sanctions on them.
Then what did we do? We sanctioned them. Repeatedly.
The reality is that we already broke the deal, and so far as I can tell, Iran is well within its rights to just tear the thing up anyway.
