Actually, Kim sits positioned as a better peacemaker than Trump. Kim's still (as far as I know) working with Moon, while Trump didn't publicly rebuke his underling for making the Libya comment.
+Valdis Klētnieks The Korea-Korea talks were halted May 16, but Moon expects them to resume after the military exercises were over. Not sure what Kim has said recently about resuming talks.
