One of the things we've been trying to do since the boy headed off to college is get back into taking day trips and other such empty-nest entertainment on the weekend. We decided to take a jaunt up into the Rockies to see some of the post-peak fall colors / aspens turning. We got not only that, but some nice, almost fairy-like dusting of snow while up at Guanella Pass.
