In my childhood, we had the following pets:
Dogs – Satan, Ginger
Cats – Jinx, George, Dusty, Misty, Patches, Goggles
Jinx was a black & white, and we youngsters wanted to name him Sylvester. My mom asked if there wasn’t a cat named “Jinx,” so he got named after the orange “Mr. Jinks.” :p
All of which is reminding me of the Your Porn Star Name meme (name of your first pet + name of the street you grew up on), which came up in conversation the other evening …
I don’t recall the name of the street I grew up on in North Dakota. The earliest one I remember is from when I was about 10, so… “Satan Greystone”?
That’s… actually kind of cool. More for an arch-villain than a porn star, maybe, but… yeah.
