The Scholastic Book Club — purveyor of fine softcover books for kids for eons — now allows folks to order online, rather than clip the little order form and write a check and send it in. And by signing in with your class name and password, the teacher gets their kickback credit. Wow — what a faboo idea!

We’ve been doing this for most of the year. It is a lot better than trying to fill out those teeny-tiny boxes on the forms. I just wish they’d offer more titles. We know, for example, how many “Magic Treehouse” and “Geronimo Stilton” volumes there are, but they only seem to offer what is up that month. They should expand things to be more like the SF Book Club (if it is in stock, offer it).
