- Bailout is the best summary of the $700 Billion mess that I’ve seen. Though Happy Hour Discurso probably uses the most appropriate profanity.
- Open Thread for Night Owls, Early Birds & Ex-Pats – It’s a small statistical sample, but disheartening. The biggest victim of the Bush politicization of the Justice Department is that it leads to a presumption that everything they do is political … which will haunt this country for decades.
- Maybe They Won’t Be Able to Hide From History – Or Prosecutors… – I’ll settle for learning the truth, even if there are no prosecutions. I have zero hope for the latter, and only a glimmer for the former.
- TSA Building Renamed – I don’t even want to know how much the renaming will cost.

- The End Is Here [Uncertain Principles] – I have less than no interest in reading the Left Beyind series … but this Christian-based critique of the series (as bad theology and bad reading of the Bible) sounds intriguing.
- Again With the Comics: Ask Golden Age Wonder Woman – via Randy, some delightful glimpses back at the deep and abiding wisdom of the Golden Age Wonder Woman.
- Kiddie pool photo on box compared to photo of actual kiddie pool … – It all makes sense … if you have Oompa-Loompa kids.
