In my humble opinion, any candidate who openly claims that God has chosen them, supports their candidacy, or is lending His Power to their cause … should be automatically disqualified. That includes Mr Carson.
No, it's not something that can be legally imposed; it would be nice, though, if it were socially (thus electorally) imposed.
