I confess I enjoyed The Partridge Family back in my childhood days. Music fakery for the show aside, it was fun pop tuneage and innocuous TV goofery. And Cassidy was no Olivier, but he had a decent acting CV to go with his singing talent. I’m sorry to hear he’s passed.

Poor sod had dementia.
He was a good singer loved the songs he had . I used to watch the Partrige Family I was a kid then I liked the show. Back then he was popular so was Bobby Sherman and Donny Osmond and Jack Wild I liked all them Mark Harmon was popular back then. All were handsome.
