Folks eating at Chick-fil-A and demonstrating on Twitter what a bunch of hateful dolts they are. Lovely.
(To those who attended Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day: if you would like to refute the idea that you're supporting hate against gays, you could do worse than to repudiate the bile spewing from your cohorts' Twitter stream.)
(Also, what is the "straightpride" hash tag supposed to mean? Because by analogy it would mean "I'm straight and I'm proud of it," whereas here it seems to be used to mean "I'm straight and if you're not then you are scum.")

Yep, definitely some twits there.
Of course plenty on the other end of the spectrum, as well:

Of course there was always the every so eloquent Roseanne Barr who hopes everyone who ate at CFA got cancer and died. More classiness….
Difference between #straightpride and #gaypride = one group would like to limit the rights of some humans, the other group just wants to be able to go to the courthouse together without it being a federal case.
+Mark Means, yes, some despicable ill-wishes there.
While I think there's more justification for anger among the folks in the article you cited than in the ones I did, neither side among those people is covering themselves with moral or civil high ground.
