Pretty hilarious, indeed.
Frightening to think that level of anti-intellectualism has been effective, to begin with.
Even scarier, given that between other news outlets scrambling to be like FOX news and obsequious use of false equivalence to include any crackpot right-wing idea as if it had equal relevance to a fact or educated opinion, one could just as easily argue that conservatives do "have" the media.
