Satellite Sam, Vol. 1 – Howard Chaykin's homage to the early days of TV is full of his signature sex and violence and sex, but in the end I didn't find any characters or story here worth picking up more for. [3/5 stars, https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/926046727]
All-New X-Men, Vol. 1 "Yesterday's X-Men" and Vol. 2 "Here to Stay" – Brian Bendis gets to play in the X-Men franchise, with Stuart Immonen providing great art. It's wildly complicated, but that's the X-folk for you, and the dialog and characterization are solid. Atomic Robo, Vol. 3 "Atomic Robo and the Shadow from Beyond Time" – I truly, sincerly, fully love this series. It's zany pulp adventure fun spanning the 20th (and into the 21st) Century — in this volume focused (mostly) on some great Lovecraftian horrors (complete with H P Lovecraft himself). Manifest Destiny, Vol. 1 – American History Horror, as Lewis & Clark discover that the wilds are full of things that go bump in the night (and splursh in the day). Delightfully well done, with layers upon layers. [5/5 stars, https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/948483675]
Saga, Vol. 3 – Vaughan and Staples are still cranking out some comi-tragic SF/Fantasy epicness here. [4/5 stars, https://www.goodreads.com/review/show/948658044]

All-New X-Men is the one X-book I'm enjoying these days.
