… is out.
Reviews are, generally, good, including comparisons to the new IE7. The biggest criticism seems to be that it’s an incremental change from 1.5 — which is actually a good thing, as FF’s
constant upgrading and improvements have been one of its great strengths, and the significant changes from IE6 to (five years later?) IE7 is a sign of how Micro$oft has neglected the browser business.
I’ll likely hold off for a few days (or until 2.0.1 comes out, or until various extension authors have caught up …), but I’m looking forward to it.
