Tackled Dr. Vahzilok last night with a large group. Much fun. Different play for Psi-clone, who got to be more of a supportive controller than team leader (which was kind of nice, even if the sewers are absolutely ruining his good clothes).
That, in turn, was an extension of the next chapter of the Skyway Rec Center thread, which involved a very fun “discover the body” bit, in which I enjoyed playing Velvet.
Big groups in both cases, which was a refreshing change, if a bit difficult to manage. Since they were all good players, though, it worked out nicely. P-Siren dinged up during the adventure, and PC went up multiple bubbles.
Puck did good last night.
Went to 20.4, finally fully DO’d, and went to city hall for the cape mish…I guess second costume comes after cape. Picked up the big bubble for level twenty (end hog, but oh so worth it.)
I loved the fact that Doyce thought that his up grading of Gilly was the reason she didn’t take damage, not the fact that she was Triple Bubbled, and Manuevered.
I think we could have put the missh setting up to unyealding for that team and we still would have plowed them under.
Plus it was great fun to watch the three tanks at work. It was also funny to watch baddies leave P1 to attack Gilly and Velvet just because he didn’t have taunt.

With all due respect to DOs, bubbles rock. The biggest drawback to bubbles is having to listen to Margie curse as folks insisted on running off before she was done with her careful bubble-up cycles.

Quite likely.

Ah, taunty goodness.
The attack of the tanks was, indeed, awesome to watch. Heck, even after it dropped to two tanks, it was fun (as Psi-clone) to watch it (and to be “quiet support around the edges” boy rather than a mission lead).
