Different, but tasty. An NO eggs!
Ingredients:
- 1 lb butter, softened
- 1 1.2 c sugar
- 3 c flour
- 1 c sesame seeds
- 2 c shredded coconut
- 1/2 c almonds, finely chopped
Directions:
- Cream butter in a large mixer bow.
- Gradually add sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy.
- Add flour and mix just until combined.
- Stir in sesame seeds, coconuts and almonds just until well mixed.
- Place 1/3 on a long sheet of wax paper.
- Shape into a long roll 1 1/2 inches in diameter. (I used the cookie press tube.)
- Repeat with he remaining dough.
- Wrap and refrigerate until firm.
- Preheat oven 300°.
- Cut rolls into 1/4 inch slices.
- Bake on ungreased cookie sheet 15 minutes.
- Remove to wire rack to cool.
Serves: Makes 7 dozen
