There will be a Dark Horse Serenity comic coming out in the Fall that will serve as a bridge between the Firefly TV series and the Serenity movie. Three issues, written by Joss.
Top comic artists will be taking on individuals in the cast for variant covers on each ish. I normally despise variant covers, but it’s worth it to get some nice portraits of these folks.
I’ll have to add this to my reserve list. Joss knows his way around a comic script. I haven’t read Joss’ work on X-Men, but I quite enjoyed Fray.

Joss’ X-man series has me reading X-man again (at least that title). All sorts of plot twist’s and great little dialog.
Dunno that he’s my favorite comics writer, but he’s definitely in the top 5. Good characterization and related stuff.
