The U.S. military spokesman says there has been a 22 percent jump in attacks during Ramadan and the drive to secure Baghdad has “not met our overall expectations.” The spike in violence during the Islamic holy month of fasting was “disheartening” and the Americans were working with Iraqi authorities to “refocus” security measures, Maj. Gen. William B. Caldwell said.
Since, after all, any sort of violence during Ramadan would be a horrible offense to Islam and Muslims world-wide.

This goes along with our increase of house to house, neighbourhood to neighbourhood sweeps during the past month….during Ramadan. To me it would be like house to house sweeps during the Christmas season here.
I mean the righties are already up in arms over a fake war on Christmas, just think what would happen if there was a real one.
