What's My Blog Rated? From Mingle2

Evidently all it found the least bit objectionable (on the front page) is the word “dead.”  Not that I expect I’d get any more than a PG, even at my most rantful.

(BoH and DoingWrite also pull a G, despite “hell” and “dead” and “pain” references.  On the other hand, the Strange Allies Ep. 1 recap gets an R rating, thanks to hell (6x), dead (3x), gun (2x) and strangle (1x) Woot!)

Neat. :)

Ill Met by Gaslight is rated R, also.

Rated PG for Gratuitous Zombies

Seriously, it found too many mentions of “death”, “dead” and “zombies” to get a G rating. Sorry kids. […

Funny – I was watching a classic Trek episode the other day, in which a man is knifed, another hacked with a sword, and Chekov tries to rape a Klingon woman but Kirk stops him. Wonder what rating that would get?

(Episode title; “Day of the dove”)

… I meant “wonder what rating you’ll get now that those words are in your comments?”

My blog got a PG because of the words “Kill”, “Hell”, and “Ass”

And a smiling note of appreciation to Les, who IMed me apologetically for dropping an “f-bomb” into my Trackback listing.

To which I say … no worries, mate.

I’m kinda surprised I got only “G”. I guess without realizing I haven’t used many naughty words. They tagged me for using “bastard”.
