      God knows there are areas (in “homeland security” in particular) where I am no fan of Obama.

      But the paranoia that reigns in some quarters over That Man in the White House beggars belief sometimes, as the post you shows.

      (And, yeah, some of the same paranoia was launched vs. George W. Bush. And while I think there was a lot more foundation for it in that case, I’ll note that I dismissed the Black Helicopter / Martial Law / Elections Canceled arguments against Bush just as I did against Clinton and Obama. Some people just want too much to be the voice crying in the wilderness against incipient tyranny.)
