What sort of "smoking gun" would actually suffice to topple Trump?

Sadly, given the hand-waving away (or, alternately, embracing) of Trump's problematic behavior, this Tom Tomorrow cartoon seems far too accurate.

  1. Have you ever noticed that you don't open a social media and there aren't any anti Hillary or anti Liberal posts here?
I mean, Liberals were talking about acceptance of all and love, but then they don't get the president they want to so they go on riots? Oh yea guys, thanks for accepting us and love and shit.

  2. Another dumbass liberal still pissed off cause you all lost the election. I blame you for what happened today…the party of tolerance has turned into the party of hate, bigotry, and racism…ty for dividing our country you weak minded dimwitted asshole!!!

  3. +Noles I do wish that the "Recommended" bit were a bit more sensitive to my own political tastes. On the other hand, complaining about Google_ here in a comment (about someone you are suggesting you are going to block) doesn't seem productive. Perhaps a note in the "Send Feedback" function would be a bit more useful.

    1. I see plenty of anti-Hillary (and anti-Liberal) posts here. Perhaps you should look harder.

    2. "Liberals … go on riots" seems a rather broad over-generalization.

    3. I accept any individual of good will who's interested in engaging in a conversation. People who are just interested in name-calling and liberal-bashing … not so much.

  5. I don't think it is just Trump that has taken it to new levels. All three branches of the government have become almost purely party-line over the last 20 years. That's not really the way they're supposed to function. Yes, I agree that the impeachment process has become almost entirely a matter of party rhetoric, and not at all part of the checks-and-balances system it's written as — but so have pretty much all the rest of our systems.
