Pop? Soda? Coke? What do you call a carbonated beverage? It varies from locale to locale, and this site is trying to track who calls it what, and where they’re from. There’s a really cool map, too.
Me? I was raised in California and, in keeping with the map, called it “soda.” But it’s interesting stuff here, and I know of other who call it “pop” or, if from the south, “coke.” Cool.

Ha!
make a poll on this!
out here, it’s ‘pop’
It’s pop in South Dakota (true to the map), but Denver should be more blue, since everyone out here says ‘soda’ (including me, now).
Maybe because everyone in Denver is from somewhere else.
I’m in Tampa, but I’m an Army Brat. I say it’s SODA. I think my brother calls it COKE, though – explain that one.
In Ottawa, it’s mostly by type, Coke (about a quarter of the time greeted with “is pepsi OK?”), Crush, Root Beer, Ginger Ale, Dr Pepper etc.
