For those oblivious to such things, I’ve changed the header, at least on this page, to Barry Windsor-Smith’s Sibyl. Very purty. We have a lithograph of this in our family room. BWS is one of our favorites.
I’m not 100% satisfied with how it looks, the gap off to the left, etc. Suggestions welcome, before I try replicating it in various bits around the other pages.
Meanwhile, I’ve “finished” the last poll. Of the 35 respondants, 26% agreed with (or, hopefully, understood) vox populi, vox dei; the plurality (37%) thought polls were fun, and 31% could take them or leave them. So we’ll be continuing them as the thoughts occur to me.
How about mirroring the image for the left side and moving the text to fit?
That might work … but it would also widen things quite a bit. I haven’t quite figured out the header aesthetic I’m aiming for. I’m also debating over the 2-columns vs. 3-columns layouts. Oh, and worrying whether people like me. All in a day’s work.
