Long day. Up early, breakfast buffet, then off to the meeting to kick it off with my stirring presentation on our departmental project execution methodology. They laughed, they cried, they screamed for more …
Well, no, they didn’t. But, despite the standard jokes about my verbosity, they were patient, they learned, and they enjoyed the quotations that I included amongst the PowerPoint bullet items.
Tonight we went to Sleuth‘s, a dinner mystery theater. Great fun for team-building, as we all tried to guess the murderer, between courses of a meal that was palatable but a far cry from Emeril’s and Charley’s. I was elected the spokesperson from our table, as the “most articulate.” Aw, gosh. We still got the murderer wrong …
(Gotta try the dinner mystery theater thing next time a set of ‘Rents come to town. I know there are a few places in Denver that do this.)
