Made it back home from Orlando with nary a problem, except that I ran out of book and had to do the crossword puzzle in the flight magazine.
I slept for about two hours on the plane.
It occurs to me that I talk a lot about sleeping (or not) when I’m traveling on business. That’s for a couple of reasons.
First, I am (a) a night person by nature, (b) react to stress by indulging myself reading and web surfing and the like, (c) am usually stressed by traveling, and (d) only go to bed at a “normal” time because Margie does, and when Margie’s not with me, it’s like the regulator’s been removed from that engine.
The second reason I talk about sleeping (or not) when I travel is that, after a few nights of just a few hours sleep, I tend to be a bit punchy and talk about all sorts of things.
That having been said, I’m done with blogging for the evening. Early to bed, because early to rise …
Welcome back, man. We missed you!
Hmmmm. If people missed me, clearly I need to blog more while I’m away.
Except Margie, of course. Blogs don’t keep the bed warm …
Honestly, though, it’s good to be home. I’d just appreciate a weekend somewhere in there.
