Google Does News. No, really. Go to news.google.com to see the Beta version of its new news service. The page features:
… a normal Google search field which will just search news outlet pages.
… current news from different sources, clustered by story (the clustering is done by word analysis, which has led to a couple of odd juxtapositions, but is still a clever, cheap way to do it — and to easily see how different news outlets spin the same story).
