Oh, bergamot!! It’s what makes Earl Grey so wonderful.
Mmmm, do you remember sniffing fresh dittos? Today’s youth has been robbed 🙂
Bergamot is the thing that makes Earl Grey oily, and therefore nasty (imnsho).
I can’t believe they’ve even made an Earl Greyer, with more bergamot. Ick.
Give me Lapsang Soochong before Earl Grey. Of course, I love Lapsang Soochong. Even if it does smell like a combination between charcoal and road tar. It’s got such a wonderful smoky taste…
Tea-Snob At Work
It was smelling bergamot oil fixing Margie some tea that inspired my making the list.
There is, of course, no accounting for taste.
Speaking of which, yes, I loved old dittos. I should have said, rather than mimeograph machines, ditto copies, still damp. Love those no-doubt-carcinogenic vols.
