Because it wouldn’t be Monday without the Monday Mission:
1. Have you ever sold anything through an online auction? What did you sell and did you make very much?
I’ve sold excess videotapes and books through eBay, but didn’t much care for the auction experience. I prefer using Amazon’s used sales mechanism. Which reminds me …
2. Have you ever bought anything through an online auction? How was your experience?
I don’t like the auction experience. I want to buy what’s there for the price we agree on. I hate not knowing if I’ll win. Control Freak ‘R’ Us.
3. Do you like the sun? Getting a suntan? Have you ever had a bad sunburn?
While I inherited my sweat and oil glands from my mother’s Italian side of the family, I got my melanin from my dad’s Irish/English side. Which is to say, I burn pretty damned easily. I also get hot easily, so shade and air conditioning are my friends. And hats, now that my hair is short enough that I can wear one on my 7-7/8 noggin.
4. Are you a vegetarian? Why? If not, have you ever considered it?
My ancestors evolved to stop eating plants. Why should I disappoint them?
No, I’ve never considered it. There’s too much meat I like to eat.
5. Suppose you are getting into your car after you’ve just made your purchase from a store you visit twice a week. You suddenly realize you had a .35¢ item in your hand and you forgot to pay for it. What would you do next? (what *would* you do, not what *should* you do)
If it were really no trouble (time-wise), I might go back in and apologize, ponying up the .35, but more likely I’d shrug it off. If I remembered, I’d buy something extra there next time I was in.
6. Sometimes it seems that there is just not enough time to do everything that must be done. Was there anything you wanted to accomplish this weekend that didn’t get done?
Heh. Heh heh heh.
Yeah. Work on my game for next weekend comes immediately to mind. As well as most of the other things on my list.
7. What is your favorite game to play with a group and/or an individual? (board game, computer game, athletic, etc.)
RPGs are my group gaming weakness.
Individually, some sort of first person shooter. But only solo — I do not need to get involved in on-line gaming. I know where my potential addictions lie.
Today’s comment topic is: Innie or Outtie?
Definite innie (and getting innier all the time).
Katherine has an innie most of the time, but when she’s eaten a lot, it pops out as an outie. Sort of like a little turkey thermometer thang. It’s how we know she’s full.
