Time Bandits II? A four-hour ABC mini-series? Say it ain’t so!
Well, it is. Terry Gilliam is writing (with Charles McKeown) and producing, but not directing.
I’m of two minds here. I’m terribly afraid of what might happen in the translation to TV “sensibilities.” Still, the script outline here sounds good, and Gilliams’s involvement, to the extent it’s there, is all to the good. (And, given his past, it may be a Good Thing he’s not directing, lest we not see the sequel until 2009.)

Oh, good stuff!!! I was wondering what to get Rey for a house warming gift. Time Bandits on DVD is sounding pretty good now. Any movie with that many midgets is brilliant.
