A Secret Service agent has admitted to writing anti-Muslim slurs on a wall calendar while searching a man’s home.

The agent — a ten year veteran — evidently wrote “Islam is Evil” and “Christ is King” on a prayer calendar stuck to the refrigerator. He’s been placed on leave pending investigation and could be fired.

And well he should be.

Don’t yahoos of this sort realize that not only does this sort of thing hurt the US and hurt their agency, but it potentially damages the case against the man they’re investigating?

Hell, it hurts Christianity, too.

Asshole.

  1. Instead of the war on drugs and overcrowding it creates in the prisons, maybe we should start a war on stupidity. Isn’t it great that a public servant gets to proselytize while gettng paid by our tax dollars?

  2. Alas, I fear the War on Stupidity would be even less likely to be won than the War on Terror, let alone the War on Drugs.

FWIW, the public servant didn’t get to proselytize. He just somehow thought he did. That’s why he’s currently suspended, and may be fired.

  3. Well, we’re into, what, the third or fourth millenium (at least) of the War on Stupidity and there’s no end in sight. But we cannot afford to give up.
