You’d think environmentalists would welcome adding wind power to the mix of power generation in the Pennsylvania area. You’d be wrong, at least for some environmentalists. Despite efforts by the wind power companies to ensure there are no major bird migration routes, spacing towers out, and relocating some to protect a possible rare moth habitat, law suits are still expected.
“It is frustrating,” Gray said. “There are environmentalists that want to compare wind plants with nothing, and we can never win. Nothing is really great, except it’s hard to get any electricity out of it.
