Change in the air

Temps have been dropping down into the 70s, even the 60s during the day. And cool and windy at night. And thunderstorms have finally made a belated summer return.

And in the back yard, small, marginal branches on the cottonwoods are abruptly changing from green to yellow.

Fall is in the air. And none too soon.
