Clothes Horse, that’s me

It’s this week’s Friday Five!

1. What’s your favorite piece of clothing that you currently own?

Hmmmm. Nothing comes immediately to mind. Some t-shirts (like Young Usagi), perhaps.

2. What piece of clothing do you most want to acquire?

I used to have some nice silk shirts that I enjoyed wearing a lot. I wouldn’t mind some again.

3. What piece of clothing can you not bring yourself to get rid of? Why?

Tucked down in my dresser is a dorm t-shirt I designed back in college — “Harwood — the Adventure Continues,” along with a very nice (if I do say so myself) drawing of the dorm with lots of ivy festoonment. I don’t even know if it fits any more (lots of shrinkage since them, ahem), but it’s Major Nostalgia Time.

4. What piece of clothing do you look your best in?

I have it on reliable authority that I look good in a tux.

5. What has been your biggest fashion accident?

Hmmm. Hard to say. I tend not to go to anything fancy, so that cuts down on errors. I’ve had cases where I wore a dress short that had a big rip in it (ho-hum). I’ve torn the crotch on suit pants a couple of times (including at least once when I was going on-stage … there’s an incentive to cheat to the audience). Occasionally I’ve underdressed or overdressed, but nothing ridiculous comes to mind.
