Studies have supposedly (I can’t recall the source) shown that if a large enough mass of people are thinking of a number, it’s more likely to come out of random number generators. I remember hearing that the flight number of the plane that crashed in Brooklyn also came up in the lottery right afterward. Very freaky.
I think this all falls into the coincidence category, but if you run across that study, let me know.
