After a summer of searing drought, wrapping things up with a downpour that floods the local Interstate is irony at its highest meteorological form.
Though, to be fair, that area of I-25 has always flooded during downpours, and the new construction there, though temporarily making things worse, will ultimately improve the situation.
UPDATE: Of course, it seems, based on water consumption, that Metro Denver residents, not to mention certain others in points south, treat weather like this as the norm, rather than the water-restricted exception.
