The President of Iran may cancel a trip to Spain. The reason? The Spanish refuse to not serve wine at meals, which observant Muslims, of course, cannot partake of. The French were similarly stiffnecked about insisting on wine being served during an Iranian state visit in ’99.
How remarkably insensitive and, dare I say it, unilateral of them.
