If you haven’t taken a gander at the New, Improved, ***Dave Does the Blog design, please do. I’ve got at least one data point that says there are problems with the CSS 3-column approach I’m taking, and I’m trying to figure out if it’s an isolated problem or not. Thanks!
UPDATE: The design is not completely finished, obviously, but the basic structure is. Unless it’s not working well.

UPDATE 3: Yes, I realize this is tied into the odd way that IE5/Win does widths and DIVs and boxes. I also am under the impression that I have the kludge in place to work around it, but that’s not always working …
UPDATE 4: While I always welcome aesthetic judgment, I’m most interested in whether there are (obvious) formatting problems, stuff overlapping between columns, etc.

Loads up much faster. Are you going to add subscription to comments?
I think the load speed is illusory — for the full page to load should be about the same speed, I’d think — but the content area loads sooner (before the sidebar).
I don’t have any plans at the moment to add subscription to the comments. (Are you referring to a way to let folks subscribe to comment threads, or registration in order to post comments?)
My hatred for Microsoft is so great that I actually bought Opera, so I am your Token Fringe Browser User, Dave. The new page loads blazingly fast for me, even on my pokey dial-up. I got so frustrated with the red design that I turned off all your graphics and it *still* took a couple of minutes to load. I don’t know what you changed, but kudos for changing it 🙂
Looks good on IE 6.0. I like the feel of it, and it loads fine.
Looks great both in Chimera and Safari.
