The mountain snowpack is close to normal, but the reservoirs are still scraping the bottom of the barrel. Thus, the drought and water restrictions are still officially in place, and may be for another 3-5 years, until reserves have built back up.

Not looking forward to what my yard is going to look like come October. Let alone October 2008.

  1. Cool. I want to go out and chop back the dead grasses and other foliage that will soon be having fresh green shoots.

    We also need to start looking at (a) painting the house, and (b) putting in the steps up the front lawn (which then leads to (c) retaining walls in the newly mulched areas).
