Katherine insists that she is not cool.
Boys are cool.
Girls are pretty.
Explanations that the two are not mutually exclusive, and that she can indeed be both cool and pretty are for nought. I have no idea what the word cool now means to her, except that it is an attribute of boys.
“Am I pretty?” Margie asks.
“No, you Mommy!” Katherine replies.
Katherine knows not whereof she speaks.
Good, or bad… your daughter is straight. It’s obvious even at this age. Trust me on this. 😉
Hope you’re well! I’m a little behind in my blog reading… we’ll be officially moved on Sunday, so life SHOULD (theoretically) slow down after that.
Well, that’s the first vote in the pool … I wasn’t planning on worrying about it for a while (well, I wasn’t planning on worrying about it at all, as far as that goes, but I wasn’t planning on considering it one way or the other for a while).
Good luck on the move!
