Plans to spin off Halle Berry’s Jinx character from Die Another Day into her own movie series have been shelved. MGM felt the project might dilute (and delay) the Bond franchise, which is more of a sure thing.
I can’t say I’m surprised. I wasn’t all that impressed by Ms. Berry’s rendition (as usual), and suspect a Jinx movie would have sunk, quickly.
