I have a report from a reader of this blog using Mozilla 1.5 that the EScrambler scrambled e-mail address code I have is displaying the raw code, not the e-mail address as intended. That’s occuring “down toward the end of the page,” which is probably the e-mail address down in the copyright at the bottom.
Is anyone else seeing that? It’s looking fine in IE6.
Yah, Moz 1.5 is showing the code. You can use this encoder instead, if you like: Hiveware Enkoder
It works fine in all browsers…so far.
Looks fine in Safari
How deucedly annoying.
I’ll have to switch stuff over on Monday. I’m surprised nobody’s mentioned it before (unless it’s a new version of Mozilla), since I’ve used EScrambler for years.
(Mutter mutter mutter …)
Moz 1.5 came out of beta last Friday, I do believe. Hm, the site lists launch day as TODAY but I downloaded the beast last week…
Ah. So maybe I should wait for Mozilla 1.5.1 to come out …
It shows up as code using Camino on the Mac. But I’ve been using Camino for months, just never noticed until now.
Well, I’ve made the change over to Enkoder, and it seems to be working … unless someone tells me otherwise.
