Saturday was sort of quiet. Slept in, then knocked around the house, working on this and that. Got the cordless mouse installed. Didn’t get the wireless router in, though — that’ll probably have to wait until June. Or maybe December.

Yesterday was the San Diego Zoo. Despite the navigational difficulties of getting five adults and one 3-year-old moving in any sort of coherent direction, we managed to see most of the zoo. A great place, even if a big chunk of it is under construction at the moment.

Drove back. Ordered in pizza. Did my Lexicon entry. Went to sleep.

Remarkably enough, I think I’m managing to keep my calories under control over the past two, three days. Walking a lot gives you a sizeable margin, even if you’re eating pizza and the like. I was under Friday and Sunday, over on Saturday.

Today, the party starts to be over. Lunch with my folks, dropping off Kitten for her extended visit there. Then off to the bee-yoo-tee-ful Santa Clarita Valley, where we’re having our big management conference (the ostensible reason for this trip) the rest of the week, at my boss’s house. It will be interesting to see how that part of the trip does with my food-watching.
