The long-languishing Amber Diceless Roleplaying Game may finally be getting a shot in the arm as Phage Press (Erick Wujick) turns publication rights over to Guardians of Order.

To which I can only say it’s about damned time. GOO will hopefully be able to revitalize interest in the game, but even if they destroy it completely (Tri-Stat ADRPG?), at least they’ll do something with it.

  1. I hope they just reprint it as is, myself. I also hope they somehow negotiate things so that the various “Amberzine” articles can be reprinted.

    My stupidest RPG-related move: Selling my collection during one fiscal crisis. Should have sold Star Fleet Battles instead!

  2. A pity, that, though if the publish that prequel crap, certaily the Estate might consider the Amberzine reprints.

    Ah, well. I’m (frankly) more interested in the game system news. At least nostalgically.
