Per Comics Buyer’s Guide #1588, Way of the Rat and Captain Marvel have both been cancelled.
The former has never quite lived up to the jollity of the first story arc, but was still jolly fun (I’ll miss Po-Po, the sarcastic talking monkey). The latter wasn’t everyone’s cuppa, but was at least as entertaining an examination of Absolute Power and Madness as any other average book on the stands out there. I’ll miss both of them from my weekly pull list.
But so it goes.

There goes the last Peter David book from my pull list!
Why don’t they offer him Spectacular Spider-Man or Superman or something? he’s too good a writer to be left in limbo.

C’mon, Dave! You know me better than that! Straight Marvel & DC superheroes only (excepting for Star Wars, o’ course).
Get him back on a character I care about! Somebody in whom I already have an emotional investment.
Besides, i don’t make enough money to be adding new titles/companies to my pull list, already at about 60 titles/month.
Man. Remember when there were about six or eight titles to pick up every Friday, and there weren’t a dozen limited series titles each month? When there was only one X-Men book? I miss those simpler times. sigh
