I’m in the advertising biz.
Well, not precisely. Nicholas Packwood, of Ghost of a Flea fame, is running BlogAds on his site, and to get the whole thing kickstarted, offered a free, week-long ad to the first person who … well, it turns out, the first person who responded. Which, as it turned out, was me.
So I got to whip up a quick ad to draw traffic here, which ad now shows up at the Flea each day over the next week.
It will be interesting to see what, if any, traffic actually results from it. I wouldn’t ordinarily advertise myself — my narcissism only goes so far — but if it’s being offered for free (and from such a delightful site as GoaF), how can I refuse?
