Interesting interview here with the Trotts about a week before the MT3 kerfluffle (the print transcript is easiest to read).
Some interesting stuff on MT history, 6A finances, communciation, and all the stuff that led to the new licensing limitations. Doesn’t change my mind about the wisdom of the price structure or author limits, but it makes it clear, once again, that the Trotts are not Bill Gates Writ Small.

What they still don’t seem to grasp is that it’s not that people don’t want to pay them, it’s that the restrictions on number of blogs/authors is ridiculous, and seemingly arbitrary.
