I really want to hate this. I really do. I generally despise remakes of classic films, especially ones that I actually enjoy.

But though the idea of a new Pink Panther film fills me with dread, the idea that Steve Martin is cast as Clouseau, and Kevin Kline as Inspector Dreyfuss — and Jean Reno showing up, too — I have to say that … the new film may not suck. Even with Beyoncé in it …
