While listening to a song (on TV, radio, whatever), you can dial up this service (#43 on your AT&T Wireless phone), the service will listen to about 15 seconds of the tune, then sendyou a text message with the song name and artist. Yeah, it’s $0.99 (the first time’s free), but, damn, I can see the value there, sometimes.

Of course, what they then want you to do is buy the ringtone for it …
