Yuppers. As mentioned, I’ve only ever missed a flight once — and that was due to dyslexically noting the flight was at 3:51 instead of 3:15 … (and was also about, oh, 15 years ago).
i read your life beliefs, or whatever you want to call them.
i agree with alot of what you said. you seem to have a practical wisdom, not just a collection of theoretical idealizations as some people have. allow me to address the following:
“God will not eternally damn you to infinite torment for a finite lifetime of mistakes. But by the time He’s done rubbing your nose in it, you’ll wish He had.”
God does not rub your nose in the fact that we as humans have fallen from grace through sin. romans 8:1 – therefore there is now no condemnation to those who are in christ jesus. now suppose you go and sin after having come to know christ. then it says that if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us. I’m glad i serve a good God who loves me and though you are episcopalian, i hope you will come to a realization of the truth and ever present reality of the love of God which abounds to you in Christ Jesus.
Also, God does not damn anyone. hell itself is simply separation from God. people who choose to remain as enemies of God through continued lives of sin and wickedness, are choosing by their actions to reject God and therefore the only place for them is where God has withdrawn from(hell) because they are not fit to stand in His holy presence.

This is a mystery of God that has been revealed. One need only believe in his heart and confess with his mouth that Jesus Christ is lord, thereby inviting Him to be enthroned in the believers heart. If Christ is in you and you in Him, then God’s righteousness is attributed to you(Jesus is the righteousness of God) and you are thus washed clean of all sin.
I could talk about this forever, believe me, so i’ll stop there.
