Blaming the victim! Blaming the victim!
Don’t you know that anyone who is harmed by another is by default totally and completely absolved of any responsibility? Get with the program, Dave!
Arref: *sigh*
Zak: I have no problem with blaming the victim, as long as it doesn’t absolve the perpetrator. Scammers and identity thiefs and similar sorts of purveyors of such phishing expeditions are scum, and deserve to be boiled in ant-laden honey. That some people are stupid enough to fall for badly written forgeries like this doesn’t absolve the phishers, but it also doesn’t make the victims any less stupid.
And, yes, Zak, I know you were kidding. 🙂
