- Why have I read only one of Time Magazine’s 10 Best Comics of 2004 (#3, in point of fact)? Why am I, in fact, only interested in reading that one?
- Why does Time insist on calling them “comix”?
Two comic book questions
Why have I read only one of Time Magazine’s 10 Best Comics of 2004 (#3, in point of fact)? Why am I, in fact, only interested in reading that one?…
1: Because they’re pretentious “works of art” read by people who think that comics have to be something more than entertainment.
2: Because it’s “edgy” and shows that you’re somebody who eschews common fare for the establishment-bashing “underground comix” of the 60s and 70s.
Ummm…
So I’ve heard of one. #3.
So guess that makes me Not-so-much-of-a-coMIX-guy, eh?
