May Terri Schiavo, and her family, now finally find the peace that was denied them by the politicians, pundits, and the press.
Her relatives and friends never reached a consensus on whether the Florida resident would have wanted to linger for so long in what doctors called a persistent vegetative state. However, all who knew her agree the once-bashful woman would have shunned the litigation-spawned spotlight.

Sadly, they won’t let it rest and Mrs. Schiavo’s death just seems to have given them more vigor. Now they want to fight for others. Others, mind you, whom have not requested this sort of advocacy.
I was disgusted when I learned that the family is trying to paint Mr. Schiavo as a wife abuser and stating that that is the real reason she was brain damaged and the real reason he wants her cremated. I guess they’re overlooking the fact that he wants an autopsy performed.
I live in PA and see first hand the ordeal that Mr. Schiavo’s relatives are enduring. It is a sad and sometimes pathetic situation all around.
